Today's blog is entitled All. It is off of the album Creed by Avalon. I love Avalon and cannot wait to see them in concert for my birthday in October. That song entered my head - thank you God for sending me a message. The lyrics were perfect for me - still are. I will post the lyrics at the end of this.

Well I am doing better after learning that I did not get selected for an interview for the academic advisor position at Navarro College. There were 68 people that applied. I have to admit that I was upset, not happy with God, not looking forward to adjuncting yet again. I mean I have no clue how I am going to pay the rent this month or how I am going to get everything paid in September. And I really want to end up with a full time position. It has been six years. I am tired of having no health benefits and struggling financially at times. I want it to happen for me.

In other news - Sunday was better. I took a step of faith and transferred my membership to Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill. Have I mentioned that four other couples from First Baptist Dallas are now there? And one of them knows some friends of mine from First Baptist Dallas. So yay for familiar faces :) I really do like that church - it is nice to be under some good preaching. I am going to show up to orchestra practice on Wednesday night and see how I like it.

Oh and God has a great sense of humor. I decided to go to Sunday school and thought the class I was invited to check out was in room 130. The Sunday school class I was invited to was finishing up Nehemiah. Well in the one I went into clearly not Nehemiah. It was from Matthew chapter 6 about not worrying. I am like - are you trying to tell me something God? Ummm yep. He is and He did. The song All in my head - which when a song gets into my head I have to listen to it. So I did on the way to church. And then in Sunday school. Which it was good - I can follow the teacher.

Then after church I stopped by the LaFon's to give them their garage door opener back and got lunch and an extra $10 back and got to pet the dog.

Then I found out that Robert the Kappa Kappa Psi brother who just graduated from Baylor is now roommates with Allan's friend Chris. I tweeted Allan and said I heard it worked out. He tweeted me back and said I could post the notice again - his friend Chris needed one more roommate. So I did - I added a few perks. Such as being roommates with a guy that is friends with Allan and having another roommate that is a brother in the fraternity. I will laugh if I get someone I know responding lol.

I also e-mailed Allan and let him know some information about Robert and he's going to invite him to his church. Yay!
