Gloria

I am home sick today. Thank you stupid Texas weather. And I do not care what some people say - not gonna go out and substitute teach when I do not feel well and rest when I get off of work. But I digress. I am here on day 4 of the 24 Days of Christmas! Before I go on with today's installment I did want to say that I have an interview for a job tomorrow that I would love to land even if it is quite a bit of a drive for me (hello train and bus if I do get the job). Keep me in prayer for this and just over all as to me getting a better job where my income level is raised and I can eventually afford to get a place of my own again as well as not be struggling financially like I have been.

Okay today's song is making me want to pull out this cd (I believe that I have about 14 Christmas cd's - 11 more and I will have 25! Woot!). It is off the Michael W. Smith Christmas cd and is entitled Gloria. I think I have most of his albums - there are a few that I do not have, but that will be remedied in 2014 (especially if I land the job I am interviewing for tomorrow). The footage I found is the only live footage that I could find and is from all the way back in 1989.The same year that his first Christmas album was released. Apparently he has a couple of other ones so yes getting the rest of this cd's will be remedied in 2014 :) As always enjoy!

Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o'er the pains
And the mountains in reply
Echo back their joyous strains
Gloria O Gloria in excelsis Deo

Come to Bethlehem and see
(Gloria O sing Gloria)
Him whose birth the angels sing
(Gloria O sing Gloria)
Come adore on bended knee
Christ the Lord the newborn King

Gloria O Gloria in excelsis Deo

Angels we have heard on high
(Gloria O sing Gloria)
Sweetly singing o'er the plains
(Gloria O sing Gloria)
Jesus Lord of heav'n and earth
With us sing our Savior's birth

Gloria O Gloria in excelsis Deo

Alleluia
