Oh Come All Ye Faithful

It is December 1st. That means it is time for my annual (okay this is the third time to try this and my second time to attempt to hit all 24 days because that is what I did last year!!) 24 Days of Christmas blog posts over here at The Great Fait Adventure. Since I tie music into everything on here, that is what I will be doing again. Finding 24 new Christmas songs. Ugh. Hashtag blogger problems. But hey I am a blogger even if I do not have a large following like some others I know. And I shall do this. Plus I like blogging :)

Okay I have decided to pick out songs that go with the many symbols of Christmas that we have. Jesus is a symbol of the season. Okay He is not a symbol. He is the reason why we have Christmas. Why I am having first world hashtag blogger problems since I have to think of 24 new songs for this year's blog. Jesus is the Son of God. Sent down to earth in the form of a baby for the purpose of one day dying on the cross for all of mankind. So that those who come to faith in Him shall have everlasting life. So today's song is Oh Come All Ye Faithful. It is Casting Crowns. I have their Christmas cd and listened to it on the way to work this morning. I really like it. I just raise my hands in worship to God. And it makes me want God to answer my prayer for my friend from work to go to Christmas Eve service with me.

O come, all ye faithful
Joyful and triumphant
O come ye, oh come ye to Bethlehem
Come and behold Him
Born the King of angels

Oh, come let us adore Him
Oh, come let us adore Him
Oh, come let us adore Him
Christ, the Lord

Sing, choirs of angels
Sing in exultation
Sing all ye citizens of Heaven above
Glory to God
Glory in the Highest

Oh, come let us adore Him
Oh, come let us adore Him
Oh, come let us adore Him
Christ, the Lord

Yeah, Lord we greet Thee
Born this happy morning
Jesus to Thee be all glory given
Word of the Father
Now in flesh appearing

Oh, come let us adore Him
Oh, come let us adore Him
Oh, come let us adore Him
Christ, the Lord

Come let us adore Him
He is Christ, the Lord
Sing choirs of angels
Come let us adore Him
Come let us adore Him
