Mind's Eye

I had Mind's Eye by DC Talk in my head when I woke up this morning - yay! I like that song. It is off of their Jesus Freak album - you know the one that came after Free At Last and everyone said - wow they can sing lol I like that song and I am glad that God gave that song to me. I like when He does that :)

I survived VBS. Yay for Starbucks at church! I have decided that Lifeway is like the State Board for Educator Certification. They had smores for a craft for 1st-3rd graders that involved community sharing of a can of chocolate frosting. The elementary teacher in me was screaming nooooo on the inside. I even suggested to the crafts director who has never been a teacher that it be tweaked and that they put the frosting on the plates for the kids. Nope - she was sure Lifeway knew something about kids too. Thankfully it was not as bad as what it could have been.

Had fun following the tweets of Angie Smith yesterday. They had adventures in flying and some unauthorized "pets" in a hotel room in Sacramento (they are bugs that start with a c but can be called by r and I shall not name them here as I am afraid of them - ewww gross disgusting). And Allan's tweet about collagen lips and Hollywood made me laugh - how I wished I could have been there to help ease the shock that is California for the non-natives. I guess since I grew up there I just learned to ignore it or accept it lol.
