My Deliverer

This morning I had part of My Deliverer by Mandisa stuck in my head. The "I want to give you praise" part. So My Deliverer is by Mandisa who was on American Idol and it is off of her album entitled Freedom (now I know what to buy and Megan, Linda and Lindsay my whopping 3 followers you do too).

I rented three movies yesterday at Blockbuster. I have to hurry up and finish watching them today after church so I can get them in by midnight. I got 10 Things I Hate About You. Boy was Heath Ledger young. I love the house that the two girls live in. I would so love to have a house like that someday. I love older homes like that. I also got Pink Panther - the one with Steve Martin. Might as well compare. I love Peter Sellers (some girl that was in a psych class of mine at Fresno State was related to him - way cool). Finally I got Amazing Grace - the one that Chris Tomlin (gig em Aggies!) does a song in. So should be fun this afternoon.

I love it when I have odd dreams that aren't scary. I dreamt that I was in some foreign country and there was driving involved - may have been Hong Kong. I somehow got back to the United States real quick - may have driven even lol. Oh and Happy Days was going on to - I think I was even singing it in my head which may have accidentally been outloud. Does anyone else sing in their sleep? lol Maybe it is just me. Oh and also my neighbor was on my couch and the water was running in the kitchen sink - all in my dreams. So ummm yeah odd lol. Thankfully I am not one of those people that believe that dreams mean something all the time. Not like back in Old Testament times. Although my recurring dreams about marching band in the fall of 1989 (Lindsay you were almost 5 - wow and I still hadn't yet met you in person) may have meant something - it was marching band all the time lol.

I got to talk to one of my good friends from California Baptist University. She lives in Burleson - yay! Us Cal Baptist people are taking over Texas. Seriously - there's quite a few of us here now. She's pregnant with her second kid and I got invited to her baby shower next Sunday. Yay for baby showers. It will be nice to see her again - no sugar for her lol. Seriously - when I was a grad student my first semester and she was but a freshman she would come to say hi to me when she was all hopped up on sugar and probably some caffeine mixed in the night before my take home exam was due for Psychodiagnostics which was the very night that I had started it (nothing like procrastination lol). But Kathi you teach college - yeah do as I say not as I do lol

Okay I have more, but I shall leave off for now. Lyrics below this.

_______________________________________________________________________________________

I was so helpless
Where did the light go
I had no hope left
Deep down in my soul
I was watchin'
I was waitin'
I was prayin'
I was stayin' down on my knees
That's right where You found me

My Deliverer, You rescued me from all that held me captive
My Deliverer, You set me free
Now I'm alive and I can live
So every moment I will give you praise
My Deliverer
Ooh my Deliverer

There's no pretending
I can't do it myself
I'm so dependent
Lord I need Your help
I'll be watchin'
I'll be waitin'
I'll be prayin'
I'll be stayin' down on my knees
That's right where You'll find me

My Deliverer, You rescued me from all that held me captive
My Deliverer, You set me free
Now I'm alive and I can live
And every moment I will give you praise

La la la la la I need You
You know whatever I'm goin' through
I'll be watchin'
I'll be waitin'
I'll be prayin'
I'll be stayin' down on my knees
That's right where You'll find me

My Deliverer, You rescued me from all that held me captive
My Deliverer, You set me free
Now I can live
My Deliverer, I'm no longer captive
My Deliverer, You gave Your life that I might live
So every moment I will give you praise
Yeah my Deliverer
I'm gonna give You praise
I'm gonna give You praise
My Deliverer
