The Words I Would Say

So I heard this song yesterday on KLTY and I had heard it before. I finally know who does the song - Sidewalk Prophets. I am sooo going to have to get one of their cd's :) So today's video will be that song that they do :)

I have a lot to say on this last day of 2009. So first off it is supposed to snow yet again today. Dude (note the native Californian slipped in there lol You can take the girl out of California but you can't take the Californian out of the girl) that is like twice this week. Oh well it is nice to have snow over the mess that is the backyard - it needs to be mowed badly. I need to get the lawn mower to function again.

Yesterday i went to my friend Melissa's to do my laundry. While I was there I got to help her 6 year old daughter clean her room. That was actually fun. There was not any crying involved (except when the fake laundry detergent fell on her head) and for part of the time I was entertaining a 3 month old baby. So all you parents out there just rent me out and I can help your kids clean their rooms lol

When I arrived home from Melissa's last night there were 8 cop cars on my street. I called my next door neighbor and she said someone had broken into one of the duplexes across the street and they thought they were still in there up in the attic. I did meet some of my other nice neighbors. But wow it was a tad scary. I do thank God though for keeping his hand of protection and mercy upon me and giving me some nice neighbors.

Oooo I read chapter 3 in Crazy Love. Got me thinking about God's love for us. We don't desere it, but I am glad He loves us sooo very much. I need to read Jeremiah 1 because Francis Chan mentioned it. It got my curiosity peaked. I have read it before, but I don't remember what all it says.

Tomorrow is the start of a new year. Yay! There were some things that happened this month that I would rather not have happened. But I am still praying for a particular person. Chapter 3 in Crazy Love motivated me to keep on praying for him. I am going to do something I have never done before - read through the Bible in a year. The college group at Fielder Road Baptist Church is going to do that and I am participating. I don't know if it will be with one of the Bibles they ordered or if I will use my NASB.
