Jingle Bells

Icemaggedon 2013 update: school is back in session in the district that I work in. So I am subbing today since I have to substitute every single day between now and Christmas break. I may take a mini leave from subbing this month if I can find something closer and in Arlington. I am going to be making some calls. I am praying for travel mercies to work today, There are still issues on the freeways. Especially the ones I have to be on. I do not want to get into an accident. That is not acceptable to me. It just causes more stress and I end up missing work because I have to take care of everything.

Okay off my soap box and on to today's installment on the 24 Days of Christmas. It is a song we can sing in our sleep. Jingle Bells. It was written by JamesLord Pierpont and published as One Horse Open Sleigh in the fall of 1857. It was originally written to be used for the Thanksgiving season. The original lyrics are a bit different from the one we sing now. 

The version I have chosen is quit jazzy. Now I totally want to get one of his albums. Michael Buble with the Puppini Sisters.
