Mary Did You Know

Icemaggedon 2013 continues. School was closed again today. Although the debate obn my facebook status is that I should suck it up and drive in ice. Ummm no. As I have said numerous times you do not know what it is going to be like. Even going as slow as you can you will still have issues with your car slipping and sliding and getting stuck in spots. Especially if you have to go up an overpass. That was my experience in 2003. I was glad I had someone that helped me. But I have known someone over during this ice storm that went out and ended up getting stuck in a ditch and was there for hours. And I refuse to just go out there and drive and if an accident happens oh well, That's part of driving in ice. The people that tell me to get out there to drive in ice will not be the ones dealing with any accidents. I will. One was more than enough. 

Okay off my soap box. I have decided that a few supplies need to be purchased before the next ice day hits. A leash for Ella my cat so I can take her outside in the ice. Stuff to make pancakes, stew, homemade soup, homemade bread, and baked goods.
